UAE reports 13 new cases of COVID-19, seven recoveries

The UAE announced on Saturday the detection of 13 new coronavirus cases and the recovery of seven.

The announcement was made by the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), during a briefing  by Dr Farida Al Hosani, the official spokesperson for the UAE health sector.

The spokesperson said that following the discovery of the new cases, the total number of COVID-19 cases had reached 153.

The spokesperson also revealed the full recovery of seven individuals.

Of the seven recovered patients, two were from India, the United Arab Emirates and one from each of Italy, Britain and the Philippines, bringing the total number of cures to 38.
