A drunk passenger, who caused chaos at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport, was released after a brief detention by the airport police.
According to FIA officials, the drunk man was making noise at the airport’s international lounge and was also harassing women and immigration officials.
He was handed over to the airport police by the immigration police.
The unruly passenger was identified as Umair and was detained under the section 54 before he was handed over to the police.
However, the concerned agency did not follow up the case.Director FIA Sindh Munir Sheikh said all the staff involved in the incident have been suspended pending the conclusion of the investigation.
