5.7 quake hits Iran, tremors felt in UAE

According to the UAE National Center of Meteorology (NCM) a 5.7 magnitude earthquake on Richter scale is recorded in South of Iran on Sunday at 16:30 in the UAE.

“National Seismic Network, Slightly felt by residents without any effect,” NCM said.

Residents in the parts of the UAE felt mild tremors on Sunday.

Iran’s Fars new also reported the quake, saying it hit in the vicinity of Iran's Qeshm island in the Gulf.
