The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADFSA) has recently issued for administrative shut down orders for Emirates Delight Dates Factory in Al Ain.

Action was taken against the factory, which holds commercial license number IN-1001465, for failing to implement safety and health standards which posed a threat to the public’s health.

ADFSA clarified that the factory had violated the regulations twice last year, and the third violation this week, lead to the closure of the factory.

It is believed that the food safety authority found insects in the dates containers.

Abu Dhabi is strict in implementing the best standard for food safety, keeping in mind the health of its residence.
