January 1, 2020, which falls on a Wednesday, has been declared as an official holiday by the UAE government.

According to the list of holidays mentioned by the UAE cabinet and the Dubai government’s most recent announcement, January 1, 2020 will be a holiday.

Work will resume on Thursday, 2 January 2020.
