The National Search and Rescue Centre (NSRC) team rescued an Emirati who was got stuck in the desert in Abu Dhabi.
The man’s vehicle was stuck in the sand in the desert of Al Dhafra. The Emirati’s family reported it to the authorities that he has not returned home prompting them to launch a rescue operation.
The ill-fated man was moved to safety and was given necessary medical attention.
The family of the man has thanked the authorities for rescuing him.
Last week, a Korean national was injured after a fall of about 40 metres while hiking in the mountains of Ras Al Khaimah. The NSRC’s SAR aircraft rescued the Korean. The man is in a serious but stable condition.
