Mex-Steal

In this video grab Oscar Ricardo is seen trying to steal the book.

The Mexican Foreign Ministry summoned its ambassador to Argentina after reports alleging that he was trying to steal a $10 book on the life of Casanova from one of the most famous book stores in the world.

Marcelo Ebrard C., Secretary of Foreign Affairs of Mexico, summoned Ambassador Oscar Ricardo Valero Recio Becerraon on Sunday, after press reports indicated that he was trying to steal a book worth 590 pesos (approximately $ 10) on Casanova, the "famous playboy" that dates back to the eighteenth century  from the store El Ateneo in Buenos Aires last October.

Ebrard has asked the Ministry's Ethics Committee to analyse the accusation against the 76-year-old diplomat, and that if the video of the theft being circulated was confirmed, he would be fired immediately.

Ebrard tweet said, I have asked the Ethics Committee to analyse the case of Ambassador in Argentina accused of stealing books in a famous bookstore. For now I have ordered to return home. If it is verified that the video is true, it will be separated from the position immediately. Zero tolerance for dishonesty.”
