Blessed babies: They arrived on UAE’s 48th National Day

During the celebration of the UAE National Day, Bareen International Hospital, a premier healthcare facility in Mohammad Bin Zayed City - Abu Dhabi, had a very special guest arriving and delivered Hamad on UAE’s 48th National Day.

An Emirati baby boy named Hamad was born on December 2, at 08:54 am and weighed 2.67 Kg. He is the second child born to Mr. and Mrs. Mohammad Hamad Al Marri from the UAE. Dr. Nazura Siddiqi, Specialist - Obstetrics and Gynecology and Dr. Mohamed Embabi, Specialist - Pediatrics, at Bareen International Hospital, successfully carried out the C-section delivery on this special occasion and ensured a safe delivery of baby Hamad with its world-class medical professionals offering warmth and personalized attention.

The families of the newborn were ecstatic that they now have two reasons to celebrate as their child came into the world on UAE’s National Day. They thanked Allah for delivering their baby safely and in good health. They also thanked the Bareen International Hospital team of professionals for the care and hospitality they were shown.

“It is a great pride for us that our little boy shares his birthday with the National Day of our great nation. This day has certainly started on the best note possible,” said the beaming father, Mr. Al Marri. “The medical and nursing staff at Bareen International Hospital have been fantastic, and we would like to thank them for safely delivering our precious gift,” he further said.

Dr. Siddiqi said, “It is always a happy time when we bring new life into the world. Having a baby at any time is a joyous occasion, but to have a baby delivered on UAE National Day 2019 is extra special, and we are proud that it happened here at Bareen International Hospital.”

Baby Rayan Foukajdi

Burjeel Hospital, Abu Dhabi’s premier healthcare facility, had a very special guest arriving on UAE’s 48th National Day 2019.  The couple welcomed a baby boy, Rayan Foukajdi, weighing 3030 grams, born at 00:01 AM on the special occasion of 48th UAE National Day.

The parents, Mehdi Foukajdi and Mary Grace Macaligar, are thrilled that their child is the UAE National Day baby 2019. “We are very happy that God has blessed us with a healthy baby boy and this is the most precious moment of our lives, said the cheerful father, Mehdi Foukajdi. “The medical and nursing staff at Burjeel Hospital has offered wonderful service, and we would like to thank them for safely delivering our precious gift”, he added. The joy and excitement of the couple is uncontainable because their baby has arrived on such an eventful date. This is a testament to the year of tolerance in the UAE, where people from all nationalities are welcomed, embraced and made to feel at home.  

Dr. Fady Georges Hachem ,Consultant - Obstetrics and Gynecology at Burjeel Hospital said the facility was very pleased to bring happiness to the family on this significant occasion of the country’s 48th National Day.

Baby Murtaza

Aster Hospital, Dubai, welcomed baby Murtaza, who arrived on UAE’s 48th National Day 2019. The baby’s parents, Tanveer Abbas and  Shabana Bano, who are both from India expressed their happiness at the arrival of his son at such an important occasion. The baby was delivered at  2.05AM, weighing 2.950kg.

Danat Al Emarat Hospital for Women & Children in Abu Dhabi welcomed a total of 16 newborns (9 boys and 7 girls) during the first few hours of the 48th UAE National Day.

The first newborn was delivered one minute after midnight (00:01 am) on 2nd of December 2019 at Danat Al Emarat Hospital for Women & Children in Abu Dhabi. His father, Mohammed Abdullah Al Suwaidi, Emirati, said, “Having our baby boy at this time of the year is very special. We have named our new bundle of joy Abdullah, and he is our first child.”
