US President Donald Trump congratulated Canadian Liberal Prime Minister Justin Trudeau early on Tuesday after the federal election put Trudeau back in power, though with a minority in parliament.
“Congratulations to Justin Trudeau on a wonderful and hard fought victory. Canada is well served,” Trump said on Twitter. “I look forward to working with you toward the betterment of both of our countries!”
Trudeau was picked up by microphones at a Buckingham Palace reception for Nato leaders on Tuesday evening apparently laughing about an impromptu press conference Trump did earlier.

Of those hurt in the accident, 138 sustained minor injuries and a further 24 were still in hospital, the health ministry said. The blast blew out the windows of several houses in the surrounding area and damaged their interiors.
