Sharjah Airport Authority (SAA) recently organised the “Bon Appetit” initiative, a private annual banquet aiming to boost productivity and enhance the sense of belonging by improving relations among staff and strategic partners outside working hours.

The initiative is part of SAA’s efforts to enhance social relations among its staff and partners to improve the efficiency, speed and accuracy of work; encourage excellence and innovation among while enhancing employee satisfaction and motivation.

SAA also seeks to promote harmony and interdependence to create a positive work environment conducive to growth, development and innovation.

The banquet was attended by Ali Salim Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Airport Authority; Sheikh Faisal bin Saoud Al Qassimi, Director of Sharjah Airport Authority; Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al Thani, Director of the Department of Civil Aviation; SAA staff and the Airport’s strategic partners.

The staff expressed their happiness with initiatives that brings them together and encourages them to be more innovative and dedicated to work, which positively reflects on overall performance and image of Sharjah Airport and its outstanding services.

Recently, Sharjah Airport Authority (SAA) celebrated the 10th anniversary of the highly successful “Because We Care” customer feedback programme. In recent years, more than 1,000 suggestions and ideas from customers have been implemented to improve the quality of Sharjah Airport’s services for passengers and customers.

Because We Care was launched to give passengers and customers the opportunity to share their suggestions and opinions of services and facilities, is an important part of the ongoing development at Sharjah Airport, which launched a large number of services, initiatives and new facilities in recent years. The programme offers a unique channel of communication for different groups of customers at Sharjah Airport.

Ali Salim Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Airport Authority, said, “Over the past few years, the programme has received great responses from passengers, customers and the public. We received a lot of constructive feedback and meaningful suggestions, and we studied and applied some of these suggestions.
