UAE astronaut Hazzaa Al Mansouri returns to the UAE after successfully completing his scientific mission to the ISS. He has already completed the necessary tests and medical examination scheduled for that mission. After he returned to the Earth, and during the last period, he was subjected to a series of tests and accurate medical examinations, under the supervision of specialists and Dr. Hanan Al-Suwaidi, astronaut physician at the Yuri Gagarin Astronaut Training Centre in the Stars City in the Russia capital, Moscow. The tests aimed at monitoring the interaction of body biomarkers and the impact of microgravity on the human body, which were conducted for the first time on a man from the Arab region.
Recently, Hazzaa Al Mansoori, the first Emirati astronaut, along with astronauts Nick Hague and Aleksey Ovchinin, had arrived in Star City in Moscow and were greeted by their family and friends.
Hazzaa returned to earth safely, after completing his eight-day scientific mission aboard the International Space Station.
During a press conference at the Kazakhstan airport, he said that he is very proud to be representing his country, the UAE and the Arab world as a whole. He has gained a lot of knowledge.
The astronauts appeared in the national dress of Kazakhstan, and was given Matryoshka dolls, which printed with image of the respective astronauts as a souvenir.

Sheikh Hamdan expressed the happiness of Hazzaa’s safe return and praised her for raising him.
