FNC winner Hind Alaleeli proud to be AU alumna
Hind Humaid Bin Hindi Alaleeli is one of the two winners from Ajman in the recent Federal National Council elections.
“I am so proud and honoured to be an alumna of Ajman University (AU),” says Hind Humaid Bin Hindi Alaleeli, while meeting AU chancellor and faculty on Monday.
Paying special tributes to the AU faculty, Alaleeli, who has recently earned her PhD in law from a prestigious university in Egypt, said her professors have played a key role in building up her knowledge, culture and character.
“The sincere advice and knowledge they have imparted to me have had a significant impact on my professional and social excellence,” she says, wishing to join AU again, yet as a professor.
AU Chancellor Dr Karim Seghir congratulated Alaleeli on her astounding success, expressing his utmost pride in the Ajman University alumni who have assumed leading positions locally and worldwide.
“This proves that Ajman University provides its students with the right tools to unlock their potential, ending up in a prestigious place for AU among world top universities.” The ‘make it happen’ spirit, let alone the full practical, innovative, and impactful support from all AU faculty and staff, have made such quantum leaps possible, he adds, wishing Al Aleeli all the best in her new mission as an FNC member.
Earlier, His Highness Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Ajman University, and Sheikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of Ajman Executive Council, met Alaleeli and congratulated her on her well-deserved achievement.
Recently, the Unit of Community Service at the Office of Community Engagement, Ajman University (AU), celebrated the ‘World Teacher’s Day’, with the Manar Al Iman Private School teachers and staff.
Male and female students from different AU colleges chipped in to show appreciation to the 92 teachers and administrative staff of the school based in Al Jurf area for their exceptional effort.
“It’s part of our core values to contribute to our society and appreciate the efforts of those who build our characters and support us in our future career,” the students said. Alaa Alkurdi, a student with the College of Humanities and Sciences, was keen to take part in this function as she graduated from the same school.
“I am so excited to see my teachers again and show them appreciation for their hard work and commitment.”
It is so inspiring to see Ajman University students giving back to the local community, she added.
“The smile on the faces of AU volunteers says it all; they do miss their most important school days.”
