His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has instructed the people concerned to amend the structure of salaries and allowances for 47 Sharjah Police staff members of different ranks, who are children of Emirati women from outside the Emirate of Sharjah.

This was announced by Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, in a telephone conversation with Hassan Yaqoub Al Mansouri, Secretary General of Sharjah Media Council, via the Direct Line programme broadcast live on Sharjah Radio and TV.

“These staff members have been treated equally with the holders of Sharjah family books in terms of salaries and allowances. This is good news for them and they deserve all support and care.

Sheikh Sultan’s boosts serve all fields of humanity and we thank Allah for this generous boost,” Al Shamsi said.

“The boost will motivate them to shoulder their responsibilities and challenges them to provide the best police services. It will also help improve the living conditions of the beneficiaries and support them in the future. We will be as HH Sheikh Sultan wants us to be, God willing,” he added.

Earlier, Sheikh Sultan on Sunday approved the financial settlement of 11 staff members of the Sharjah Police.
