A cleaner is facing charges at the Dubai Court of First Instance for allegedly raping his colleague.

According to court records, the Bangladeshi man, raped his Nepali colleague twice.

The complaint said he raped her in the storage room of the building they worked.

The case was reported at the Bur Dubai police station in June.

The 28-year-old defendant confessed to raping the 27-year-old complaint.

Traces of DNA were also found on the woman's body.

The case has been postponed to Sept.19.
