A Russian nuclear power plant unplugged three of its four units after a short circuit on Thursday but radiation levels remain normal, a subsidiary of the Rosatom nuclear company said.
The Kalinin nuclear power plant's first, second and fourth reactors were taken offline, Rosenergoatom said in a statement.
The plant is located some 350 kilometres (about 200 miles) northwest of Moscow, in the Tver region.
"The radiation level at the station and adjacent territory remains unchanged and is in line with natural background levels," the statement said.
Western leaders warned Russia not to consider shifting a country's national borders by force, highlighting that Moscow would pay a high political and economic price for any military intervention in Ukraine.
Russia said after Naryshkin's meeting with Burns that Moscow was open to more high-level talks with the United States, but the Kremlin dismissed the idea of a summit between President Vladimir Putin and US President Joe Biden as "out of the question" for now.
The Zaporizhzhia plant, Europe's largest, had its last remaining main external power line cut off, although a reserve line continued supplying electricity to the grid, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said.
Captured by Russian troops in March but run by Ukrainian staff, Zaporizhzhia has been a hotspot in a conflict that has settled into a war of attrition fought mainly in Ukraine's east and south six months after Russia launched its invasion.
