UAE’s outstanding police chiefs feted

The UAE’s police chiefs were recently honoured with the ‘Dubai Police Security Cooperation Medal’ for their outstanding services and cooperation in maintaining the security and safety of the country. The officers were felicitated by Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chief of Police and Public Security of Dubai, Chairman of the Police Leaders Council of the Ministry of Interior, in the presence of Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police

Major General Al Marri praised the fruitful cooperation between the police leaders in the UAE and described it as a result of the supreme directives of the wise leadership and the security leaders’ support and the direct follow up of His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior. Al Marri added that such cooperation has made the UAE an oasis of safety, security and stability for all citizens and visitors.

Major General Abdulqudous Abdulrazzaq Al-Obaidli, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Excellence and Leadership at Dubai Police, praised the efforts of the police leaders for their work pointing that the wise leadership has given us all the confidence and planted in our hearts the love of goodness, tolerance and solidarity.

Major General PhD. Mohammed Ahmed bin Fahd, Assistant Commander-in-Chief of Academic Affairs and Training at Dubai Police, has recently received a delegation from the Ministry of Interior of the Kyrgyz Republic, headed by Colonel Jumangaziev Kanat Sajinovic, Head of the General Directorate of Bishkek City Police and his accompanying delegation.

The meeting, aimed at discussing ways of joint cooperation between the two sides and exchanging experiences in the field of security and policing, was also attended by Brigadier Dr. Ghaith Ghanim Al Suwaidi, Director of the Dubai Police Academy, Dr. Mohammad Butti Al Shamsi, Deputy Director of Dubai Police Academy, and a number of officers of the Academy.

Bin Fahd stated that the Dubai Police General Headquarters is looking forward to strengthening partnerships in various fields and achieving the common goals of the security institutions locally, regionally and globally. He pointed out that the visit represents an important opportunity for the Dubai Police Academy to share their vast experience in a number of academic and training fields.
