A massive fire broke out in Sharjah’s Industrial Area on Friday afternoon.
Civil Defence vehicle were seen rushing to the site. Gulf Today learned that the fire was in a factory located in one of the Industrial areas of Sharjah.
Thick black smoke billowing from the site was clearly visible from Gulf Today office in Al Khan.
Several fire engines were trying to douse the flame. The exact cause of the inferno is not known.
There were no casualties reported. All residents were evacuated.
The two children were alone with their grandmother when the fire erupted at 10:30am, adding that their parents were at work at the time.
The teams extinguished the fire in nearly a minute.
