A 19-month-old girl, who fell off from the window of her flat on 10th floor of a building in Ras Al Khaimah, has recovered completely.
On Feb.17, Leen climbed up on a sofa that was placed under the window, she fell off before her mother reached her.
Leen's father, Mahmoud Farghali, expressed his deep gratitude to everyone who supported his family and prayed for his daughter’s recovery.
"I am happy to announce that my daughter is getting better," he said.
The RAK Civil Defence investigations found out that the window Leen fell off from did not meet the safety requirements.
The Defensc will be carrying out safety checks on windows in high-rise residential buildings across the emirate.
