To embrace the spirit of giving during the holy month of Ramadan, prominent public and private organisations, departments and others have started a number of activities along with the communities they are supporting.
Like many others, Mercato the only Italian themed mall in Dubai will partner with Emirates Red Crescent to host a month-long charity donation campaign for those in need.
The charity donation campaign ‘Share Your Blessings This Ramadan’ is an initiative to encourage shoppers to share their blessings with the people in need during Ramadan by placing pre-loved items, daily necessities, and non-perishable food through the donation boxes supported by Emirates Red Crescent.
A dedicated donation box for toys will be placed this year in the donation area to encourage children to give back to other children in need and share the opportunity to have joyful experiences that every child deserves. All donations will go towards “Toys With Wings” in support of Emirates Red Crescent.
The officials at the mall has said that for the visitors there will be Mercato’s Pop-up Markets showcasing the best homegrown labels by Emirati designers where shoppers can shop the latest Ramadan abayas and kaftan’s. They can buy Ramadan inspired home décor, handmade jewellery and serving- sets all under one roof at the ARTE Market
