Graduates of Sharjah school honoured

Sheikh Faisal attends the graduation ceremony at Almarifa International School.

Chairman of the MBF National Group Sheikh Mohammed Bin Faisal Al Qasimi and his wife Sheikha Roda Bint Maktoum Bin Rashid Al Maktoum attended the graduation ceremony of the 29th batch of grade 12 students at the Al Jawhara Hall in Almarifa International School Hall, Sharjah.

The ceremony included a number of events beginning with the national anthem and recitation of the Holy Quran, speeches from graduates and a poetic paragraph about the Year of Tolerance, followed by the Council of Students’ speech and a tribute to the knowledge of students and students’ family.

Sheikh Faisal, in the presence of Abdullah Al Marzouqi, Director of Educational Institutions at the Sharjah Special Education Authority, honoured the outstanding students in the British and American departments and distributed the certificates to the graduates.

Sheikh Faisal, in his speech, congratulated the parents for their  efforts and follow-up in order to provide ways of success and excellence for their children.

He stressed the importance of continuing the march of progress for a bright future and a decent life. 

Sheikh Faisal pointed out that the school has taken great steps in the improvement, development and expansion, noting the efforts of teachers and management of the school and its employees, and the Board of Trustees for their efforts that culminated in success.

He also pointed out that the most important thing in life is to secure the children’s future in various areas of life.

Sheikh Faisal stressed that the educated person has a different view of life and it is good to recognise the importance of the education process so that the person is encouraged to complete it.

Recently, Sheikh Faisal signed an investment partnership with Hussain Al Tantawi, Executive Director of the National Bank of Egypt  (NBE), at (DIFC) office, in the presence of Tariq Al Ghazali, General Manager of the Bank’s representative office in the UAE.

Under the terms of the partnership, MBF will provide about $30 million, the National Bank of Egypt will provide $20 million, and the $50 million investment will be raised.

The total value of the partnership is $100 million; the investment projects will be implemented in Egypt during the coming period.
