AD CP restructures board of Rehabilitation Centre

The new board structure includes the following members: Abdullah Abdullah Al Humaidan, Brigadier Abdul Moneim Al Sayed Al Hashemi. It also includes representatives from the Medical Office of the Ministry of Presidential Affairs; the Department of Health; the General Headquarters of Abu Dhabi Police, and the Department of Community Development.
Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed also issued a decision appointing Hamad Ali Mohammed Al Dhaheri as Director-General of the Abu Dhabi Social Support Authority, as well as Salamah Ajlan Al Amimi as Director-General of the Community Contributions Authority, Ma’an, and Abdulkarim Abdul Rahim Al Raessi as Director-General of the Integrated Transport Centre.
In an unrelated development, Sheikh Mohamed and President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, on Monday, discussed ways of enhancing bilateral relations and tackled a variety of regional and global issues of common interest.
During an official session of talks at the Presidential Palace, Sheikh Mohamed and the visiting Uzbek President explored opportunities and potentials for expanding joint cooperation across investment, economic, agricultural, tourist and industrial spheres in order to achieve aspirations of the two countries and their peoples for development and progress and serve their mutual interest.
Sheikh Mohamed emphasised that the UAE pays attention to the importance of joint cooperation with the friendly Republic of Uzbekistan in various domains.
He said the UAE-Uzbekistan’s relations were established on the pillars of mutual confidence, respect and understanding in addition to the common values and principles on tolerance, coexistence, communication and cooperation.
Sheikh Mohammed stressed the need for harnessing investment, economic and cultural opportunities available in the two countries and building constructive partnerships between the public and private sectors in both countries.
President Mirziyoyev said he was delighted at his first visit to the UAE and meeting with Sheikh Mohamed. He underscored his country’s desire to expand and diversify its relations with the UAE to include investment, economic, cultural and industrial sectors driven by the shared political will and promising potential available in both countries.
At the conclusion of the talks, the UAE and Uzbekistan expressed their aspiration for greater joint cooperation and work across areas of investment, economy, culture, agriculture, technology, tourism and science which serve development and progress for peoples of the two friendly countries.
The two countries highlight the shared values of tolerance, coexistence, cooperation and friendship and interaction with other countries. They also stressed the importance of maximising international efforts to realising world peace, security and stability, which remains the key bedrock for development, progress and prosperity for the peoples of the region and world and deliver better future for generations.
Writing in the visitor’s book at the Presidential Palace, the Uzbek President thanked the UAE for the warm reception and generous hospitality accorded to him and his accompanying delegation, praising the deeply rooted human values of the UAE and the cultural renaissance it achieved.
Sheikh Mohamed also hosted a luncheon banquet in honour of President Mirziyoyev and his accompanying delegation.
Present at the talks from the UAE were Dr. Amal Abdullah Al Qubaisi, Speaker of Federal National Council, FNC; H.H. Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Ruler’s Representative in Al Ain Region;H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior and other officials.
