Hayat Arts, the Dubai based art major, recently unveiled the 2nd Edition of The Mirage Awards & Fashion Show 2025, in a seamless symphony of luxury and cultural grace. It was a night when art spoke with messages, fashion breathed style, and the soul of creativity shimmered on canvas and couture. The event was curated by Hayat Events & Arts Founders Safa Peshimam and Sarah Peshimam and co-hosted by Rayan Shahid. “Hayat Events & Arts is a movement, not just a moment that comes and goes,” said Safa. “We don’t just organise events; we create legacies that outlive the applause.”
The night opened in noteworthy splendour with the presentation of THV Couture’s 2025 Bridal Collection, a tribute to love, heritage and emotion, stitched in silk and sequins. “Each design is a masterpiece,” Sarah Peshimam said, “and every fold is a whisper of grace and craftsmanship.” Behind the elegance lay the expertise and skill of Tanzim Vasgare, inspired by her father, Hasan Vasgare, whose words echoed through the creations: “Dream as big as you dare, and I will be the wind beneath your wings.”
From that promise was born THV Couture, a house built on the artistry and elegance of haute couture. Each veil carried the memory of generations, and every silhouette was a paean to timeless beauty. The ballroom where the occasion was hosted, shimmered with the presence of luminaries, whose influence crosses borders. Among them were Yaqoob Al Ali, Sultana Kazim, Ahmed Al Awadhi Rukni, Hanif Shaikh, Bu Abdullah, Laila Rahhal, Abdullah Al Jafaly, Sumayra, Nada Al Barazi, Captain Houda Sghaier, Tessy Koshy, Reema Mahajan, Bouchra Izabel, Dr. Mariam Shaikh, Mohammed Ali, Anjini Prakash Laitu, Max Fardan, Mehreen Sultana, Kiara Kaur, Juhi Yasmeen Khan, Sonaksi Goyal, Lord Lee of Atherfield, Raffah Abdulrazzaq and Mr. & Mrs. Boeing.

Each guest transformed Mirage into a sculpture of unity, intellect, and cultural grandeur. Before the spotlight turned again to the runway, a dialogue unfolded. It was on the subject of Art, Fashion & Sustainability: Building a Conscious Future. The discussion was moderated by Rayan Shahid. Then, as the music swelled and lights danced across the stage, the Mirage Awards 2025 ceremony began. It was a celebration not only of fame, but of impact. Each name called out to receive the award represented a deep contribution to the arts. Among the honorees were Ahmed Al Awadhi Rukni, Dr. Mariam Shaikh, Hanif Shaikh, Jaimee Reyes, Dr. Anum Ali, Kaitlyn Isabella, Sahar Shabnoor Ansari, Yashi Khatanhar, Fernanda Rampon, Edcel Cabalan, Kamal Al Yammahi, Erum Durrani, Rooma Eejaz, Rolando De Guzman Rico Jr., Qaafilah Studio, Sahil Akbar and Rosvic Castro.
In a memorable interlude, Safa Peshimam unveiled her second poetry collection, When Silence Bleeds. “It was written in the kind of silence that presses against your chest and demands to be heard,” she said. Then came another magical chapter of the night. Under a golden glow, the runway transformed into a live canvas of heartfelt emotion, as it was walked on not by professional models, but by friends, family, and members of the Hayat Arts community, all personally coached, groomed, and styled under the artistic direction of Safa Peshimam. Their self-belief and confidence was proof that when nurtured with vision and trust, anyone could become the face of a dream.
Aisha Shaikh, Nandana Suresh, Marcus Andries, Jaimee Reyes, Rayan Shahid, Althaf Ashraf, Safa Peshimam, Ehsan Raseed, Sarah Peshimam, Raghib Khan, Nazmin Rasheed, Fady Farahat, Nandana Suresh, Nidhi Sreenivas, Rachel Aroujo, Khaleeq Qazi, Avigyan Bhatacharya, Muhammed Rasheed and Yashi Khatanhar, were some of those who brought THV Couture’s creations to life on the runway. Behind every ovation was an army of partners, creatives and dream-weavers, who helped turn a vision into reality. Locals Dubai, The Times of UAE, Dfashion Magazine, Pardais News, CBH Times, Dream Media Motion, DMM News, Dream Fashion World, Sahir Photography, MM5 News, RandomTalk and Indacy Media, played indispensable roles in Mirage.

From stylists and makeup artists Viktoriia Platner, Eyes of Beauty and Smarty’s Beauty Solutions to photographers and volunteers Community Champion, the invisible hands of often behind the scenes effort, created the perfect moments. As the final notes faded and applause zoomed out in the ballroom, it was clear that Mirage was where passion and prestige and vision and value, came together. It was a celebration of humanity through art. In the words of Safa Peshimam, “we don’t just honour brilliance; we shape histories that continue to shine long after the night fades.” And as the cameras flashed and the cake was cut and laughter resounded under the chandeliers, purpose had united art, fashion and humanity, beneath one luminous roof.
Hayat Arts was born only 18 months ago, from the vision of Safa Peshimam and Sarah Peshimam. “Hayat Arts is not an organisation; it is an awakening,” they said. “In a short time, it has established itself as one of the UAE’s most influential creative movements, curating over 21 exhibitions, fashion shows, and award galas across borders so far.” “Art and fashion,” says an AI Overview, “are deeply intertwined, with fashion often called “wearable art” as both are forms of creative expression using similar principles such as colour, form, and texture. Art provides fashion with longevity and serious intent, while fashion can introduce art to new audiences and lend it commercial value. They influence each other in a continuous cycle, with fashion designers drawing inspiration from art movements and artists being inspired by fashion.”
