Jolly joggers join jolly old Santa in Snow Abu Dhabi run

Snow Abu Dhabi, the Capital’s first indoor snow park, hosted the inaugural edition of the Festive Fun Run on Sunday. The coolest race of the season welcomed 164 guests from 24 countries, including 13 Emiratis, who put on their festive fancy dress and hit the snowy racecourse.

Featuring a special appearance from Santa Claus himself, the -2°C race event was open to runners of all fitness levels with two categories for Kids (aged 5-17) and Adults (aged 18-70). Lucky jolly joggers dressed in festive attire won prizes for best costumes and received a commemorative medal when they crossed the finish line.

Children have a whale of a time.

The Festive Fun Run is part of Snow Abu Dhabi’s Winter Wonderland. Until 25 December, families can enjoy the most wonderful time of the year with a bumper line-up of activities including Meeting Santa and Breakfast with Santa.
