Al Montazah Parks, renowned as Sharjah’s premier amusement and waterpark, has unveiled exciting updates for the summer season.

‘Pearls Kingdom,’ the emirate’s largest waterpark, will now welcome visitors for an impressive 14 consecutive hours, from 10am until midnight, making it the only waterpark in the UAE to offer such extended operating hours.

This campaign, which runs from June to August, ensures that visitors of all ages can enjoy the diverse facilities, slides and rides at ‘Pearls Kingdom’ even more this summer.

With a capacity to accommodate 7,000 visitors, Pearls Kingdom boasts an impressive array of 35 water slides and facilities, including a wave pool capable of enthralling 200 riders at a time. The park also features a slide tower and a dedicated children’s water slide catering to 110 youngsters at a time aged 4 to 14 years of age.

Additionally, Al Montazah Parks is also bringing back its highly anticipated ‘Ladies Day’ season in its 13th edition at Pearls Kingdom.

Commencing on Tuesday (June 13), and continuing every Tuesday thereafter throughout the summer, ladies and girls can exclusively enjoy an assortment of engaging activities, such as Zumba and Foam Activity, facilitated by a team of all-female staff. Privacy for visitors is paramount, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience from 10:00am to 10:00pm every Tuesday.

Draws and valuable prizes

These great additions to the season are part of Al Montazah Parks’ ‘Daytime Delights and Night-time Thrills’ summer campaign and will run until the end of August. As part of the initiative, monthly raffle draws will award over 100 lucky winners. Visitors who spend Dhs100 or more at the park’s restaurants, cafes, retail shops or tickets will be eligible to participate in the draws.

Winners will be announced via Al Montazah’s official website and social media accounts every month, with prizes ranging from the popular iPhone 14 Pro Max and other incredible smartphones to Sony Play Stations, complimentary tickets, hotel accommodations, gym memberships, and more.

Khalid Ibrahim Al Qaseer, Director of Operations at Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), the renowned organisation that oversees Al Montazah Parks, expressed their commitment to enhancing Sharjah’s allure as a premier regional tourist destination, stating, “These recent developments, including the extended operating hours at Pearls Kingdom and the dedicated Ladies' Day, were implemented following careful analysis of visitors' needs and desires. The aim is to provide extraordinary experiences and entertainment options that cater to their leisure preferences, particularly during the summer season when tourists seek refreshing water-based activities, resort experiences, and amusement parks.”

Commenting on attracting visitors to the emirate, Al Qaseer said, “The continuous introduction of new services and options demonstrates our dedication to ensuring that both residents and visitors can revel in memorable activities at the many tourist and entertainment destinations in Sharjah.”

In January last year, the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) announced a packed agenda of wholesome and fun-filled activities across its destinations to mark the second season of the UAE’s 'World's Coolest Winter' campaign. Targeting families and individuals of all age groups, Sharjah is now abuzz with a diverse range of lively entertainment activities as Shurooq aims to reinforce the emirate’s status as a leading global destination for families and ecotourism experiences.

Festive and entertaining performances such as the circus parades, giant mascots, neon-light performers, guitarists, magicians and more will be dazzling visitors with their international arts and cultures.

Al Qasba will be home to a wide variety of activities including dexterous tricks of circus performers, hand pan instrument music performances and a wide range of entertainment shows.

Visitors of Al Majaz Waterfront will be greeted with performers in costumes that look alike well-known figures such as Charlie Chaplin, in addition to a wide variety of activities.
