Now this is sibling attachment at its best: a two-year-old Australian boy, Rory Hannant, was so happy to know that a baby brother was born that he got him a card and flowers. Normally, the older brother or sister gets jealous of all the attention being showered on the new arrival but this was not the case with this toddler. The card said: “Thank you for making me a big brother.” The move was so adorable that social media buffs simply loved the video.

His mother had just given birth to a baby in Melbourne, Australia, the second in the family. The toddler trotted in, to greet his baby brother, wearing a blue sun hat and a

T-shirt to match.

Wide-eyed and almost shy, he was simply awed by the sight of the newborn, not knowing  what to say. He was then lifted on to the bed, where after a momentary silence, he started stroking the infant’s back in a gesture of brotherly affection.

His mother was simply too amused by his act.
