Sharjah's favorite cultural light festival is back for its 12th year!! A big annual event held in the UAE, reimagining the city into a colorful display of light and music. This year's festival started on Feb 8 and is attracting thousands of visitors across all nationalities, worldwide.

Cutting–edge technology, allowing for seamless integration of 3D projection of lights and sound makes this SLF bigger and better than ever. The diverse array of light installations, including interactive displays, and laser shows that light up the city's iconic buildings, parks, and public spaces, enhances the emirate's exemplary architecture.

There are 14 shows and a wide range of activations of the SLF, taking place across 13 locations in Sharjah, Al Hamriyah, Eastern and Central Regions.

Introducing the Light Village for the 1st time

Cherish time with family and friends with special exhibitions of light-inspired installations, enjoying different cuisines under the shining stars of Sharjah at the Light Village. The Light Village has over 40 F&B outlets, offering a vast range of tastes to suit all palates. The Light Village also includes a light museum, displaying beautiful conceptual light-inspired exhibits and play area with a variety of games.

Visage – The Faces: An array of illuminated faces greets visitors, enhancing the user's creativity and encouraging a thought-provoking mindset. From different angles, the installation takes on different views, featuring the instagrammable light technique.

Little stars – Kids area: Kids can take part in a variety of activities, including festival skill games, arcade games, thrilling riders, etc. which gives them power-packed engagement and fun.

Al Majaz waterfront:

One of Sharjah's iconic landmarks, a popular entertainment hub for visitors and residents. The vast area dazzles with over 150 pixels of radiant LED light, creating a remarkable 3D visual experience. Enjoy rich traditional and international cuisine, take a ride in the boat with family and friends, and enjoy the Sharjah Light Festival installation by the water.

Khalid Lagoon Corniche:

Enjoy the Art Walk from Al Noor Mosque to Al Qasba canal entrance. The engaging illuminated Gobo art projections by the emirate's artistic youth gives you an insight into Sharjah’s youngsters’ creative talents!

Kalba Clock Tower

One of Sharjah’s newest attractions decorated in lights for the first time; viewers enjoy the unique audio-visual narrative display, especially in the ‘blue hour’. The tower stuns in an atmospheric show with augmented visual reality, mixed with dynamic music, enhancing the festive mood.

Sharjah Mosque

The largest mosque in Sharjah attracts a huge number of visitors every year! The laser show enhances the rich architectural beauty of the mosque, with different color themes. The crystalline visual design of the color pattern and vibrant artistic expression makes the user enter a creative mode and explore the aspects of the light techniques.

In addition to these stunning, light displays, the festival also features a range of cultural events and activities, including music performances, theater shows, and workshops for children.
