BeingShe recently hosted its annual business and professional awards at Sofitel Dubai Downtown. The awards ceremony was held under the patronage of Sheikh Juma Bin Maktoum Al Maktoum.

More than 200 people, including well-known personalities, influencers, and government officials, attended the award ceremony.

The event kicked off with a tribute to the late His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan as an honour to his legacy and efforts towards women's empowerment.

Across eight major categories, more than 40 women achievers earned excellence awards. Excellence in Business, Wellness, Logistics, Commodities, Corporate, Human Resources, Media and Art, and Health and Fitness were among the categories.

Recognised for her untiring efforts, Hania Reggi, Senior Sales and Marketing Manager at Tennis and Country Club Fujairah won the excellence award in the corporate category and best in event management.

HAnia-with-award-750x450Hania Reggi has played a key role in the success of major tennis, squash, and swimming competitions being held at the TCCF.

"Because of my devotion, hard work, and great entrepreneurial and team management abilities in a male-dominated business, I deserved the BeingShe Award 2022," said Hania.

"I am proud to be one of the few women to have ascended to the highest management level of a sports organization, defying the notion that women cannot lead," she added.

Known for her winning smile and effervescent personality, Hania has played a key role in the success of major tennis, squash, and swimming competitions being held at the TCCF.

Besides sports, Hania also helped the club with organizing art exhibitions, Master Chef competitions, and fashion shows successfully.

This is not the first time Hania has bagged an award and been noticed for her hard work.

She has won many awards, including the International Women's Day Award for supporting Sharjah Ladies Club and was selected for the award by Thumbay Hospital for Women's Day for being active and supporting their event.

Instead of resting on laurels, Hania wants to do more and feels such recognition motivates you in your journey of success.

“The bottom-line is in life, you do things and you will not even know that people are noticing. I can just say it is God that rewards hard work.

"My message is anywhere you find yourself, be diligent with whatever you are doing, put in your best and leave the rest to God. Do not look at what people would say, whatever you are good at, be the best and leave the rest to God. The final word is that in any space you are trying to impact people’s lives."
