Abu Dhabi hospital welcomes 3 newborns in first hour of 2022

Dana Hospital in Abu Dhabi saw birth of 3 newborns in the first hour of 2022.

The hospital also ended 2021 by receiving 11 newborns, including 4 females and 7 males, and one twins.

Thus the total number of newborns in the hospital in 2021 amounted to 5,150.

Dr Muhaimin Abdel Ghani, the CEO of Dana Hospital for Women & Children in Abu Dhabi said, “We received the new year 2022 with celebrating the newborns, to raise the number to 26,736 in the hospital since its opening in 2015.”

He added, “13,932 of them are males and 12,804 are females. The total number of Emirati infants is 14,667 newborns and we expect to receive 9 others by the end of the first day of 2022.”

Amna Faris Al Shehhi, Emirati, was the first newborn in Dana Emirates Hospital in 2022 where she was born at 1:15am of the first day, with a weight of 3,3 kilogrammes.

Amna’s father expressed his joy saying, “Our pleasure is doubled today to receive our third child on the first day of the new year.

“We hope for our precious UAE more progress and prosperity.

I thank Dana Emirates Hospital for the super care they have given to our child.”
