Dr. Crichlow started his practice after graduating with a strong performance at the University of the West Indies, particularly in surgery. He showed very early prowess in surgery and went into the field of plastic surgery, and evolved his skill set with a focused completion of several certifications, including general surgery, head and neck surgery, flap reconstruction and micro surgery. He also completed a world-renowned fellowship in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery and a master’s degree in Aesthetic Surgery in Latin America.

Like many long-standing successful members of the profession, Dr. Crichlow continues to engage in CME and for several years has also contributed back to the profession by serving on the faculty of multiple aesthetic and plastic surgery organizations, engaging in research, writing articles, teaching, and providing workshops to surgeons who desire to learn his techniques.

Dr. Crichlow then focused his surgical career with special emphasis on aesthetic solutions in Facial Rejuvenation, Breast Surgery, Body Contouring, Lipoabdominoplasty, and Safe Gluteal Fat Grafting, also known as the Safe Subcutaneous Brazilian Buttlift.

When he was ready, he started his first facility in Barbados and began offering services to achieve excellent results while keeping his clients safe. His reputation for providing extraordinary service, integrity, and personal development soon spread outside of his country and all throughout the world, allowing him to open the doors of the Caribbean for medical tourism.

Dr. Crichlow found himself serving not just his countrymen. He started getting clients from all over the world seeking his expertise in weight loss management, aesthetic surgery, and facial rejuvenation, among others.

But aside from bringing in medical tourism, Dr. Crichlow has also introduced several treatments that require minimal anesthesia and quick recovery time. These practices are highly effective and have the power to improve a patient’s life.

And lastly, Dr. Gregory Crichlow is also one of the pioneers in the Caribbean’s medical field to utilize social media to forward patient education. After taking a much-needed break at the onset of the pandemic, Dr. Crichlow immediately set off to find ways to help his patients even while at home.

That’s when he turned to social media, particularly Instagram, to reintroduce his company and educate people on what it really means to get plastic surgery. By using social media platforms to demystify the practice of cosmetic surgery, Dr. Crichlow is helping normalize aesthetic treatments and therapy that allow people to look good and feel good about themselves.

Dr. Gregory Crichlow is committed to introducing more firsts in the Caribbean’s medical community. He has already done so much for the industry and will continue to do so for the benefit of his patients.

For those who are pursuing similar success, the doctor says that extensive technical knowledge is not enough to succeed in the field. Dr. Crichlow explains that understanding the importance of a quality customer experience is crucial to building trust and promoting patient safety and effectiveness of results in the long run.
