Jude Walker, a 11-year-old Briton, is walking from North England to London, trying to encourage the idea of imposing a fee on carbon emission to limit it.
Walker, who resides in the Hebden Bridge area in Yorkshire, braved hills, rain and other difficulties throughout his 210-mile-trip, inspired by Swedish activist Greta Thunberg.
He believes that imposing fees on carbon emissions is a crucial step to slow down the human march towards what he described by the bitter world.
He said while walking, "Now we know a lot about climate change and I think limiting carbon emissions will be one of the best solutions in this regard."
Walker wants to encourage people to sign a petition to impose a tax on carbon emissions.
Currently just under 57,000 people have signed his petition. If it gets 100,000 signatures, it will be considered for debate by parliament.
He walks ten miles per day, accompanied by either one of his relatives or friends.
He is due to finish the walk at St James's Park on Saturday.
