After a long wait, a Tunisian old man broke into a jig after he finally got the AstraZeneca vaccine against COVID-19 before the vaccination centre in the city of As-Sawasi.

The video of the dance went viral on social networking  and media sites. Spontaneously dancing, the old man was like a young man, skilled in acrobatic movements and jiving to music, surprising the audience who filmed him with their phones.

The circulating video of the barefoot old man reflected the happiness of the Tunisians at the start of a national vaccination campaign against COVID-19. This was after the country recorded two weeks ago the worst death rate in the world, and officially announced the collapse of its health system.
