The coronavirus pandemic has left the whole world in dire straits.

Failing miserably to keep the tourism sector on par, Jordan strives to get back to its pre-pandemic phase with a handful of initiatives.

Local shop owners have been struggling to survive with no support amid these testing times.

After handling this grim crisis which sees those involved in the tourist industry barely surviving, tourists have slowly started creeping into Jordan, giving a small ray of hope for revival.

The government has also shown commendable support to its people by making moves to make the country a safe place for travellers to take a break.
