Bonhams auctions the AJS E95 Porcupines motorcycle, which was made in 1949 by the British Associated Motor Cycles, for sale next weekend, and it is expected to fetch up to one million dollars.

The bike, which has a capacity of 500 cc, outperformed other world bikes, having won its first world road racing championship.

Three copies of this brand won the Swiss Grand Prix and the Belgian Grand Prix in 1949, 1950 and 1951.

And the first E95 bike was sold in April 2000 at a price of $260,000, becoming the most expensive motorcycle in the world, surpassing Brough Superiors, Vincents, Crockers and MV Agusta that were sold before.
