The video showed the injured donkey lying motionless in the middle of a highway in Oman. In a flash of a second, another donkey comes to its rescue.

A traveller from a car on the highway recorded the entire video. The traveller also made sure that the traffic was stopped so as the donkey could be moved to safety.

The healthy donkey grabbed the injured animal by its teeth.

The donkey then dragged the injured one to the side of the road so that it didn’t get run over.

The traveller was astonished to see the humane side and said he has never seen such a loving gesture between animals.

Social media users were going gaga over the video.

A user said, “We humans should learn these traits and stop abusing each other…”

A animal rights watch group said, “Donkeys have an excellent memory, and have a great ability to learn new things. They learn from our habits and behaviour.

A Twitter user, Wasif Reza said, “This made my day…”
