Katie Price has confirmed that she is engaged to be married to Carl Woods after a whirlwind 10-month romance.
The model and businesswoman shared the happy news with OK! magazine, revealing that her husband-to-be even asked her parents and teenage son Junior for permission to pop the question.
“We’d spoken about it a lot, so I knew he was going to, I just didn’t know when,” she said.
“It was amazing. Carl asked my mum and dad for permission – and Junior!”
The 42-year-old said of the former 'Love Island star': “It’s refreshing to be with a man that if I decided I never wanted to work again, he’d look after me. I just love him.“
Price posted a picture showing off her engagement ring with fiancée Woods, teasing that the “full story and photos” would be revealed in next week’s OK! magazine.
This marks Price’s eighth engagement. She has been married and divorced three times, with her ex-husbands including former pop star Peter Andre, MMA fighter Alex Reid and Kieran Hayler.
The model has been engaged to - but not married - Kris Boyson, Scott Sullivan, Leandro Penna, and Warren Furman.
She shares children Harvey, 18, with Dwight Yorke, Junior, 15, and Princess, 13, with ex-husband Peter Andre, and Jett, seven, and Bunny, six, with Kieran Hayler.
The mother-of-five has also sparked rumours that she is pregnant with her sixth child.
In March, she shared photos to Instagram showing her cradling her stomach and thanking her boyfriend for being “part of me”.
In the caption, Price appeared to hint that she and her boyfriend Carl Woods are expecting their first child together, writing: “Happy and healthy. It’s the best feeling ever I thank @carljwoods for being part of me xx.”
Woods shared the same photo to his Instagram Stories, where he added a heart emoji.
Price revealed that she and Woods were trying to get pregnant in a YouTube video shared in October, with Price explaining: “Basically, we do want a baby and we’re not being careful.”
The reality star has also previously shared her desire to have more children, telling The Sun: “If I could, I’d definitely like another four kids. I might be able to, but my age isn’t helping.”
