A boy from the Canadian province of Ontario has entered the Guinness Book of Records for the longest milk tooth (1.02 inches).

The 9-year-old Luc Bolton from the Peterborough area, received a message from the authorities stating that his tooth, which was removed by Dr. Chris MacArthur, has set the record for the longest milky tooth in the world.

The Bolton family said the tooth was removed on Sept.17, 2019, when the boy was 8 years old, but only recently they learnt that their application for the world record had been accepted.

"It was a bit annoying at first when I thought it was in my son's mouth," said the boy's father, Craig Bolton, when he saw the pulled tooth for the first time.

Bolton added that Locke's older sister, suggested it could be a world record.
