“Game of Thrones” star Sophie Turner has lauded actor Blake Lively for speaking frankly about her post-baby body woes.

Lively, 33 — who has three children with actor Ryan Reynolds — recently took to Instagram to discuss feeling “insecure” about her body after giving birth to her daughter Betty in October 2019.

Writing alongside a photo of herself on“The Jimmy Fallon Show” wearing a floor-length black dress from Net-A-Porter and a Lanvin shirt, the actor wrote: "No one had samples that fit me after giving birth. And so many clothes from stores didn't fit either. So. Many.

“It doesn't send a great message to women when their bodies don't fit into what brands have to offer. It's alienating and confusing."

The actor admitted that she wishes she’d felt “proud” of her body, instead of worrying about gaining pounds, terming her behaviour “silly.”

“And I wish I felt as confident then as I do now, a year later looking back," she said.

"That body gave me a baby. And was producing that baby's entire food supply. What a beautiful miracle.

“But instead of feeling proud, I felt insecure. Simply because I didn't fit into clothes. How silly is that in retrospect.”

The actor’s fans and followers lavished praise on her for the frank admission.

Among the supporters was fellow actor Sophie Turner, 24, who welcomed her first child, a daughter, with Joe Jonas in July last year.

“Yes @blakelively one more time for the people in the back,” wrote Turner, who shared Lively's post with her 15.1million followers.

Seeing Turner's supportive message, Lively publicly responded with “Queen of the North” —a reference to Turner’s role on “Game Of Thrones.

Turner and Jonas have kept details of the whole pregnancy and their new-born largely under wraps from the public.

However, reports suggest their baby girl is called Willa.
