In a very cute video, an elephant is seen enjoying himself while playing with a water sprinkler.

In the 28-second video, the giant jumbo is seen getting each part of its body drenched with water that was oozing out of the sprinkler.

The elephant rolls about on the mass of water next to the sprinkler, then lets the douche of water hit his underbelly and the flaps of his ears.

Then, something interesting happens. It starts walking away from the scene, then has a change of thought, does a U-turn and enjoys a second spell of the shower.

The video ends with the elephant calf letting water splash directly on its face and trunk. It is then seen joyfully lying in a puddle.

Social media is going gaga over the adorable jumbo playing around.

The video shared on social media has garnered thousands of likes and has been retweeted many times.

The video was uploaded on Twitter by an Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer, Susanta Nanda, with the caption: "Elephants are not only one of the most intelligent animals but have found them to be incredibly playful. After breaking the sprinkler, this rescued elephant is having time of his life."

A user wrote, "Think everyone should aim to be carefree like this elephant at some point of time in life."
