Abu Dhabi: An intelligent nine-year-old Emirati girl, Mahra Al Muhri, saved her seriously sick mother in her house.

The girl called the doctors and followed their instructions intelligently and kept her mother safe till the arrival of the ambulance team.

The Directorate of Emergency and Public Safety of Abu Dhabi honoured Mahra Al Muhri for handling the precarious situation and saving her mother by not letting even a minor negligence happen.

The telephonic calls between her and the ambulance team helped her look after her mother. The girl followed each and every instruction of the ambulance team.

The girl, a fourth grader at Al Rayana School, called 999 at the Command and Control centre asking for help to save her mother.

Colonel Zayed Al Hajri, Acting Director of the Directorate, praised the girl’s positive behaviour.

On its part, the Administration of Al Rayana School thanked the Abu Dhabi Police for honouring one of its students.
