Previously, Rashmika admitted in another one of her posts that all this time away from work has made her realise the importance of slowing down. Sharing her new perspective, the “Animal” actress said that earlier, when she was hustling, “slowing down” seemed scary to her, but now she finds hustling extremely scary.
Putting her thoughts into words, Rashmika wrote on the photo-sharing app, “My days always look like this if ever I am just home for this long. It’s amazing how when you are hustling your days away the other side which is ‘slowing down’ seems scary but when you are pushed into ‘slowing down’ – the hustling like a crazy person now seems scary, maybe that’s what is life.” Rashmika recently suffered a serious hip tendon injury while shooting her upcoming film “Mysaa.”
Meanwhile, the makers of director Rahul Sankrityan’s eagerly awaited period film, “Ranabaali,” featuring actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika in the lead, have now announced that their film will hit screens the world over on Oct.16, this year. The film was earlier scheduled to hit screens on Sept.11, this year. For the unaware, Vijay Deverakonda essays the role of Ranabaali, while Rashmika Mandanna plays his wife Jayamma in the film. Arnold Vosloo, best known for his work in “The Mummy,” plays the antagonist Sir Theodore Hector.
“Ranabaali” is being produced on a grand scale by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar, with T-Series presenting the film. The movie is set against a British-era backdrop and is being made as a period action drama.
Set in the 19th century, the film is based on real historical events that took place between 1854 and 1878, and is being mounted as a massive pan-India project. Sources claim “Ranabaali” is inspired by real incidents from the 1850s that never found space in mainstream history books.
