Priyanka Chopra heads back to bay from her New Year trip with the family

Global star Priyanka Chopra celebrated the New Year with husband Nick Jonas, daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, and her family in an isolated location but now, she is headed back to the bay and is all set to return to work mode. PeeCee took to the Stories section of her Instagram and posted a video showing her Insta Fam what she is leaving behind. The “Barfi” actress uploaded a clip capturing the serene beauty of the island she has been staying in for the last couple of days with her loved ones to kick in the New Year. “Going from this to the craziness of the Golden Globes”, she was heard saying.

PeeCee further added that she has not met any human being besides her family in the last 10 days. In her next few posts, Priyanka treated the netizens with some more sneak peeks of the beautiful place she decided to welcome the year 2026 in. For those who do not know, PeeCee will be presenting an award at the forthcoming edition of the Golden Globe Awards.

Going by a report in Variety, the awards have announced its lineup of presenters for the ceremony. The list further includes some prominent names such as George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Charli xcx, Snoop Dogg, and “Heated Rivalry” stars Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams.

Meanwhile, Priyanka had a fan girl moment looking at “snack” Nick Jonas while he took a dip in the swimming pool. Priyanka took to Instagram to share a video of her husband taking a refreshing dip in the swimming pool. While Nick enjoyed the water, the actor was seen relaxing on a reclining chair by the poolside, watching him with admiration. Nick and Priyanka met for the first time at the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty, where he expressed his feelings for the Indian actress. At the Met Gala, the two made their primary public appearance as a couple, and in 2018, reports of Priyanka and Nick being romantically involved started surfacing over the internet.

Nick finally proposed to Priyanka for marriage on her birthday in July 2018, in London, and the actress immediately said yes. It was in December 2018, the couple married at Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur in traditional Hindu and Christian ceremonies. Talking about her film work, Priyanka is currently in Hyderabad for the shoot of her upcoming movie starring South star Mahesh Babu, helmed by SS Rajamouli.

Priyanka, who has been feted with two National Film Awards and a Padma Shri, will next be seen sharing screen space with Mahesh Babu for the first time in the upcoming film. In addition to this, she has also been roped in for the latest instalment in the popular franchise “Krrish 4”, marking Hrithik Roshan’s debut as a director.

The 42-year-old actress, who is the winner of the Miss World 2000 pageant, will also be seen as a 19th-century Caribbean pirate in the forthcoming swashbuckler action drama, “The Bluff”. She was last seen in “Heads Of State” directed by Ilya Naishuller. It stars Idris Elba and John Cena as the UK Prime Minister and US President, respectively.
