Bollywood hunk Salman Khan turned 60 years old on Saturday, and marking the special day, wishes have been pouring in for him from all sides.
Salman kicked off his 60th birthday by having a blast with his family and close friends at his Panvel farmhouse. Along with his parents and siblings, he was also accompanied by his industry folks.
Many big names from Bollywood, such as Sanjay Dutt, Karisma Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, Genelia Deshmukh, Rakul Preet Singh, Huma Qureshi, MS Dhoni, Sangeeta Bijlani, Mika Singh, Maniesh Paul, Pragya Jaiswal, Zeeshan Siddiqui, and Rahul Kanwal, along with others, were also a part of Salman's 60th birthday celebration.
Many B-town celebs used social media to pen lovely wishes for Salman as he turned a year older.
Suniel Shetty shared a photo posing with the birthday star on his X (Earlier known as Twitter) handle and wrote, "To the man whose heart is bigger than his stardom... happy birthday bhaaii May your kindness keep shining brighter than every spotlight. Always love, always respect (sic)."
Shilpa Shetty also uploaded a string of photos with Salman over the year and shared, "Then to NOW...Another year older, but still the same crazy! Happppyyy Birthday @beingsalmankhan...Stay happy, healthy and amazing... our forever Tiger."
Bhagyashree, who made her debut opposite Salman in 'Maine Pyar Kiya' went on to pen, "Then and now ! Friendship always... dosti ke asool humesha...Happy birthday @beingsalmankhan...Wish you health, happiness and peace."
Maniesh Paul added, "Happy birthday @beingsalmankhan bhaijaaaaan!!! Thank you for all the love and warmth you showed us with!!! Love you bhai #mp #salmankhan #hbd."
Veteran actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha wished Salman with the following words, "Loving birthday wishes for a dear family friend, superstar, down to earth, most worthy son @BeingSalmanKhan of the most worthy father #SalimKhan. Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar also shared a throwback photo of the 'Sultan' actor on social media and penned, "Happy Birthday Salman (collision and hug emojis) Health Happiness and 60 More (The clinking glasses emoji) May you shine your starlight forever (Evil eye emoji) Only (Red heart emoji) (sic)".
Director Subhash Ghai's heartfelt birthday wish for the 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' actor read, "A national super star shines today at bandra sea link celebrating his 60th birthday being a bandra boy since his birth. He has stayed with his family as his fist love n did stand by them always. He is also a true friend of friends even in their bad times when today it’s a transactional friendship in mumbai...He still stays in one bedroom hall for decades."
Sneha Ullal wishes 'first reel love'
Salman's "Lucky: No Time For Love" co-star Sneha Ullal wished for her first "reel love" , a year full of "peace and protection."
Sneha took to Instagram, where she posted a string of images from the 2005 film. It also featured a poster of the film along with a BTS moment with Salman.
She wrote: "You will always be my first REEL LOVE. Wishing you Peace & Protection. Happy Birthday @beingsalmankhan AKA- Adiiiiiiiiii."
Lucky: No Time For Love, shortly known as Lucky was directed by Radhika Rao and Vijay Sapru. It depicts the story of two lovers in war-torn Russia.
Sneha was brought up in the Middle East in Muscat, Oman. Later, she moved to Mumbai with her mother and attended Durelo Convent High School and studied at Vartak College. Arpita, sister of Salman, spotted her, and she got to act at 17 in 2003, when she had just completed her 12th standard, in the Hindi film Lucky: No Time for Love.
Bodyguard Shera heaps praise on hunk
Salman Khan's bodyguard Shera, who has been with the Bollywood superstar for decades now, wished his 'Maalik' on his special day with a heartfelt post on social media.
Shera praised Salman for his unique ability to face every obstacle of life with style, strength, and silence, which is something that according to him makes Salman one of the biggest superstars in the country.
Dropping a photo of himself twinning with the 'Sultan' actor in black on his IG, Shera wrote on the photo-sharing app, "Happy 60th Birthday, My Maalik @beingsalmankhan...I've walked beside you through countless ups and downs, and one thing that has never changed, is your attitude to face every challenge with style, strength and silence. (sic)."
Shera further expressed his gratitude to Salman for giving him a chance to earn a lot of love and respect, all thanks to him.
"That's why you're not just a star......you're the biggest Superstar. Because of you, I've earned so much love nd respect and an identity I'm truly proud of. May God bless you with all the happiness, success and the best of health, always. Aap salamat rahein, Maalik," the post concluded.
Shera is probably one of the most well-known bodyguards of a Bollywood celebrity. He even made a small appearance in Salman's 2011 release "Bodyguard."
