Founder and creator of the “Write the Quran” project, Thashreefa T.B., traveled from Kannur, Kerala, to the Sharjah International Book Fair to share a deeply personal dream that has grown into a global mission.
For the past five years, Thashreefa has been immersed in Arabic calligraphy, creating works of art using glitter, clay, and traditional tools.
Her journey took a profound turn when a heartfelt desire arose within her — to write the entire Quran with her own hands.
She began searching across India for the right materials: high-quality paper, writing instruments, and everything needed to preserve the sanctity and beauty of the scripture. As she wrote, a powerful thought came to her mind:
"What if the process were simplified, so that anyone could write the Quran without fear of mistakes, and with the opportunity to easily correct them?"
These reflections became the foundation of her project, “Write the Quran” — a unique initiative that guides people in writing the Quran by hand accurately, confidently, and beautifully.
At SIBF, Thashreefa T.B. is showcasing this inspiring mission, inviting people of all ages to reconnect with the Quran through the art of writing. Her project is not just about pen and paper — it is about devotion, patience, and making sacred knowledge accessible to everyone.
