The Fujairah Fine Arts Academy has launched the 'Musical Street' project, the first of its kind in the UAE and the Arab world.
Spanning 750 metres along Sheikh Khalifa Street at the entrance to Fujairah City, the project offers drivers and passengers an exceptional musical experience.
As cars pass by, the project offers drivers and passengers an exceptional musical experience by playing notes from Beethoven's famous Ninth Symphony through the sound of their tyres.
The project is one of the Academy's initiatives to promote art in public spaces and integrate music into everyday life in an innovative way that reflects the Emirate of Fujairah's cultural and artistic character.
Ali Obaid Al Hefeiti, Director General of the Fujairah Fine Arts Academy, said: 'The Musical Street project is an extension of Fujairah's vision to integrate art into everyday life, offering a unique experience that touches people's senses in unconventional settings. We believe that music is a universal language capable of creating exceptional moments, even while driving.'
He added that the project connects art to life, embodying the Academy's mission to spread beauty and creativity throughout the emirate, particularly within artistic fields.
