Bollywood star Sunny Leone has been granted a UAE Golden Visa, receiving a passport valid for ten years.
The CEO of ECH Digital, the largest government service provider in Dubai, Iqbal Marconi, presented her with the UAE Golden Visa at their headquarters.

Leone expressed her gratitude to the UAE for this recognition. It is worth noting that ECH Digital has issued the highest number of Golden Visas to Indian film stars, including many from the Malayalam film industry.

Notable Malayalam stars like Mammootty and Mohanlal have also acquired the Golden Visas. The introduction of Golden Visa in June 2019 followed an announcement by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates.

According to a report, Sunny Leone knows the significance of being in a film that premieres at the Cannes Film Festival, and it’s an experience no one can take from her, the film star said on Wednesday, ahead of the sold-out midnight screening of the Indian movie “Kennedy.”

Leone was on India’s version of the reality television show “Big Brother” before she moved into film, a background that led to perceptions of her that she has had to fight against.
