Bollywood buffs in India must be eagerly looking forward to the Oscar Awards ceremony coming up in less than two weeks. And it is not just the A-listers of Hollywood, including the directors, who are the top draws at the event, slated for March 12. It’s because Bollywood’s top-notch actress Deepika Padukone will be presenting an award at the ceremony.

The South Indian siren is one of the few top-ranking stars who have been given this prestigious honour.

Among other celebrities giving away the awards are Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Emily Blunt, Samuel L. Jackson, Michael B. Jordan, Zoe Saldana and Jennifer Connelly, according to Indo-Asian News Service.

A list of names was shared on The Academy's Instagram handle. The caption read: "Meet your first slate of presenters for the 95th Oscars…”

Deepika will next be seen in the Siddharth Anand-helmed film 'Fighter' starring Hrithik Roshan and Anil Kapoor.

She will also be seen in 'Project K', along with South Indian megastar Prabhas and Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan.
