Soon after the Pakistani actor Alizeh Shah’s smoking video went viral, it seems that the Ehd-e-Wafa star has decided to take action against those who have filmed and shared the footage online.

According to details, the actress has decided to take legal action against the spread of her video and in this regard she has approached the FIA Cyber Crime Wing.

The video shows Alizeh sitting in a car at a traffic signal with her friends. She can be seen smoking a cigarette. Some netizens slammed her act and called the actor a “hypocrite.”

She was also accused of promoting “European culture.” Head Of Sindh’s Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Cyber Crime, Imran Riaz, took to his Instagram Stories to show his support for the actor after the smoking video went viral.

“Taking anyone’s picture or recording their video without consent, uploading, sharing, tweeting, re-tweeting it on any social media platform, like it has happened in Alizeh Shah’s case, comes under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016. People who are involved in the act can be imprisoned for at least three years or could be subject to Rs.1 million penalty,” Riaz said in the video. Alizeh turned to her Instagram to share Riaz’s statement.
