It is becoming a trend of some sorts in Bollywood that before every major release a sensational new involving the star cast, the movie’s story or the characters starts doing round in mainstream and social media.

So is the case with the release of Aamir Khan starrer 'Laal Singh Chaddha' which is due to hit screens in April next year. This time around it is about third marriage of Aamir Khan.

There are rumours that “lagaan’ actor is going to tie the knot for the third time with an actress.

Since July 3, 2021, when Amir khan and his second wife Kiran Rao announced about their divorce, media has linked ‘Lagaan’ actress Fatima Sana Shaikh with Aamir Khan.

However, neither Sana Shaikh nor Aamir Khan have publicly spoken about their relationship. So it remains to be seen that the stories doing rounds in local media is a promotional gimmick or there is any truth behind it.

Aamir Khan first met Kiran Rao on the sets of Lagaan in 2001 where she was one of the assistant directors.

After his divorce from his first wife, Reena Dutta, in 2002, Aamir married Kiran in 2005.

Aamir and Kiran have a son, Azad Rao Khan, born through surrogacy in 2011.
