The female education activist Malala Yousafzai has tied the knot with Asser Malik, the operations manager of the High Performance Centre at the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), in a small nikkah ceremony at her residence in Birmingham, UK.

The 24-year-old Nobel Prize laureate took to social media to post pictures from the nikkah, calling it a "precious day in my life."
