Elon Musk has expressed his support for Britney Spears as outcry over conservatorship continues.
The Tesla and SpaceX CEO took to Twitter on Monday and tweeted ‘Free Britney’, followed by 57.8 billion followers.
Elon Musk’s partner Grimes replied ‘thank u’ to his tweet, after which people stated that she made Musk tweet in support of Britney.
Musk’s tweet garnered over 291,000 likes and 36,000 re-tweets.
The 39-year-old superstar , had spoken to a judge in an emotional break-out regarding the issues she had with her dad and his control over her life.
She shed light on how her father was abusive and was not letting her live a regular, normal life.
"I told the whole world I'm OK and I'm happy — it's a lie," she said. The popular singer added: "I'm not happy. I can't sleep. I'm so angry it's insane, and I'm depressed."
